Hola! We’re Anita & Steve! We first met at work over 34 years ago ,married exactly 10 years after we first met and have now been happily married for nearly 25 years.
We live in West Yorkshire and have always loved travelling, spending a lot of time holidaying in Europe, either in camp sites, hotels, holiday homes and even the odd caravan. On a visit to the area in 2017 we fell in love with the mountain scenery and beautiful Andalucian Pueblo Blancos and returned in 2018 to purchase the villa as a holiday home and to share with guests and friends.
To date over 200 people (and many repeat visitors ,some now on their 4th trip!) have had the 'traditional Spanish village experience’ in Mondron and we hope you will join that growing list. Its not always easy managing building projects from over 1500 miles away but over the last few years we’ve made several changes including a new pool terrace area , new BBQ area, installation of solar panels and in 2023 a new kitchen!

Air conditioning/heating in both bedrooms plus ceiling fans, additional electric heaters and a log fire for use in winter.
Two bedrooms and bathrooms (one ensuite) with sofa bed in lounge and cot bed available.
3 TVs with streaming services and/or satellite, DVD player, boxsets and films, PS4, board games & activities.
Both terraces have sofas and the larger has dining area for 6 people.
Private pool (can be heated April – June and October), sun loungers and chairs, sun umbrellas, BBQ facilities, garden, access to garage with storage, newly fitted kitchen comprising induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, air fryer ironing facilities and many pots, pans and cooking and baking utensils.

Mondron is a traditional Spanish village in the Andalucian mountains full of lots of local traditions. It is surrounded by olive trees up to 1000 years old which produce the local award winning olive oil. It has a shop at the heart of the village with the olive oil factory and a bar /restaurant just a short walk up a steep hill ( personally we drive up and the athletic one goes back for it the morning after ! ) Whilst a small village it is only 10 mins from the next town of Periana , only 20 minutes from Puente don Manuel should you need an Irish bar and some Warburtons crumpets! and around 35-40 mins from the nearest beach.
Our second stay at Villa Mondriana. We love it. It’s beautifully equipped with everything you could need. From toiletries to first aid supplies and washing powder to light bulbs. Honestly Steve and Anita have thought of everything to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. There are even toys and board games for the kids and they have gone to the trouble of inventing a treasure hunt and other games for them as well . The heated pool is just fantastic and the garden surrounding it is stunning. We spend most of our time on the enormous covered terrace with its views of the hillside and goat farm in the distance. I really can’t recommend this place enough, and we will definitely be going back.

Everything about the villa is perfect . Beautiful gardens , pool plenty on space , spotlessly clean . There is literally nothing the villa doesn’t have . Fab base to explore such a beautiful part of Spain 🇪🇸. Such good value for money will definitely be returning and would recommend in a heartbeat . Owners are so helpful and informative definitely 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
